NLMK DanSteel is proud to announce the appointment of Christian Willumsen as the new CEO of the company, effective March 1st, 2023. Willumsen brings extensive experience in the steel industry and business management, including as Director of the Business Unit for High-Strength Steel Sheets and Director of Strategy and Innovation at ThyssenKrupp Steel Europe. More recently, he has worked as a consultant for several steel companies, developing business strategies and improving processes.
As the new CEO, Willumsen’s mission will be to maintain NLMK DanSteel’s leadership position in the European market for steel sheets for shipbuilding and offshore structures, as well as in the market for steel construction projects. He will work closely with stakeholders to continuously improve the company’s performance and provide customers with high-quality products and services.
